The story

The Pavillon restaurant was built in 1955. Originally it was intended to allow people walking on the Gaalgebierg site to take a break, quench their thirst and indulge in a little gourmet treat while enjoying the panoramic view offering a breathtaking view in the south of the country. The site was taken over in 1999 and over time the restaurant's offerings have evolved and adapted to the changing clientele. They invested on the site in the construction of a design hotel in 2010.  The growing success of the hotel offering a haven of peace in the park environment proved them right.
